There are many Support Staff that help Dr. Alvis attempt to meet your needs. Below are some of the people that you may see in Dr. Alvis' office, or in the hospital, that are "support personel" and supply products that are integral to his treatment of your medical condition.
Amy, Mark, Phil: it is our job to continuously monitor the nerve activity in your spine during your procedure with Dr. Alvis. We are often the first staff to meet you before your procedure. We will hook up your arms or legs with a series of sticky pads and attach those to a series of bright colored wires (don’t worry we are not color blind). We stay with your throughout the whole surgery, monitoring all of your nerve activity and allowing Dr.Alvis to see each nerve root, test your motor pathways and monitor your spine. We love taking care of you and will make sure that we do all we can to make your surgery day as safe as possible.
